Education in Haiti

Formal education rates in Haiti are among the lowest in the Western Hemisphere. Haiti’s literacy rate of about 61% (64.3% for males and 57.3% for females) is below the 90%-average literacy rate for Latin American and Caribbean countries.

School Building Project

The school building project in Haiti is a non-profit organization with the mission to break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations through service and education. The school was constructed in partnership with the very people who benefit from them, which means your donation not only educated - it also empowered an entire community.
