Meet the Country Liaisons

Patrick Camille Michel

He is a Senior Haitian professional living in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, with 40 years of experience in organizational, strategic development, project management, and quality management. He holds an MBA from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from State University of Haiti, Faculty of Sciences, Port-au Prince. Patrick has been pursuing a candidacy for PhD in Public Administration and Public Affairs (PPPA) at Walden University since 2015. He has extensive leadership development skills and extensive travel within Haiti for development activities. Key areas of expertise include:

Magloire Maillard

Since after the earthquake of January 12, 2010, Magloire Maillard has worked under the influence of Dr. Walter McCollum, who became his mentor and sponsor. Magloire has supported the Walter McCollum Education Foundation by conducting international training, facilitating workshops, translating, and providing security services. He has also been instrumental in bridging relationships with the Foundation and Haitian educational, government and non-profit organizations.
Magloire was the team lead of the school building project in partnership with buildOn which was completed in 2019. Currently, Magloire is working part time with a variety of international organizations. He is assistant manager and interpreter for Quality and Praying Pelican Missions. His duties include preparing the necessary logistics and coordinating with various partners in surrounding departments in Haiti. He has attended several international conferences at venues such as George Washington University. Most recently, He attended the buildOn conference from in Detroit, Michigan.

He is one of the co-founders of Children’s Vision Center (CVC), a local organization whose mission is to support vulnerable children in acquiring an education. He strives to remain socially committed as a visionary with his main objective to contribute to the reconstruction of his country Haiti, especially the mentality and mindset.

Magloire is committed to promoting the objectives of sustainable development through presentations, social media outlets, and conferences in primary schools or disadvantaged neighborhoods. His dream is the emergence of a more just and equitable world.
